Staring at My Family

Because I have him,
My heart beats.

Because she calls me “Mommy,”
My heart beats.

The Christmas tree that captivates,
Parties, Carols, Presents, and festive dinners.

Thank God for the gifts he gave me,
and my heart that beats.

  6. Merry Christmas to you and yours as the day is now all but upon us. You post was lovely, and I’ve even managed to get some more reading of your book done (between the doctors and the counselors, I think their afraid to leave me any time to myself at this time of the year. Lol.)
