Why do I have Cancer?

There was no fault to be found with Jesus.  He spent his days healing the blind and the sick, he forgave the sins of outcasts of society, welcomed little children, and raised the dead.  Jesus had no home to call his own, he was rejected by his own brothers and his hometown.  Jesus was a man of sorrows.

His death was the great accomplishment of Satan himself.  He filled Judas as he betrayed him to the chief priests and the officers of the temple.  Satan and his legions shrieked with delight.  Jesus was dead!  They knew he was dead!  Their plan had been accomplished!  Satan had defeated Jesus.

But even Satan does not know the future.  And Jesus is alive!  He defeated death and arose from the grave.  How this devastated Satan!  Jesus had won the victory and he knew it!  It was not what he expected!  Jesus did not come to earth as a king and defeat the Romans, he came as a weak baby to a weak family.  He defeated Satan through SUFFERING!

The suffering of Jesus changed our futures forever!  Because of the suffering of Jesus, we can put our trust in him.  He is a God that knows the suffering of mankind.  His death gave us eternal life in perfection.

It is so hard to suffer.  It is so hard to see that anything good could come out of our pain!  But, oh, when Jesus hung on the cross and the demons were claiming the victory, I can think of nothing more hopeless!  But through his suffering, he rescued the souls of man!

In this life, I will have suffering.  It is guaranteed.  But I am not afraid.  I do not ask why do I suffer?  I ask Jesus, why did you suffer FOR ME?

  1. You are the most beautiful woman I have seen. Your hope, faith and love for Jesus is phenomenal, and if nothing else i am sure that the glory of God to come is nothing like we have imagined 🙂

  2. Many blessings beloved sister. 10 «In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins».
19 «We love, because He first loved us». 1 John 4:10,19 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

  3. “He died for us though we esteemed Him not” Why? Would I die for someone who I knew hated me and what I stood for? But God did that for us! Why have I been so blessed to have ‘my eyes’ opened to His great love and my great hate! Why did God make a way for me to see my need for Him???

I don’t know, but I can’t wait for Him to explain it to me someday.

  4. Jesus marked a turning point for some. The original sin was forgiven and a New Testament had begun.

When you ask why all the time you go back to the Old Testament again. Job’s book is strange as it asks questions that still stir people, whether they are Christian or not.

    • Oh so true! And so wonderful that the Bible is full of people asking questions, look at the psalms, but yes! Through Jesus, we are forgiven! And we do not have to understand. He is God, not me.

  5. Jesus is one of the great prophets who enlightened the world carrying God’s message to humanity. Many fought against him, but he struggled for us, because he loves us. I love him too and wish I can see him and all the prophets in the afterlife, God willing. However, he is not God! He is a human being like us whom was chosen by God to carry His message to humanity. Yes, he was able to perform supernatural things like healing and raising the dead, but this was all done with the order of God. May God bless him, all the chosen prophets and all mankind leading us to the right path enabling us to perform the prophets teachings fighting against ourselves and satan.

    • I appreciate your comments but we can agree to disagree. He claimed to be God. “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me.” That makes him either: 1. Crazy.
      2. A liar.
      3. God Almighty.
      I believe Jesus is God.

      • We can agree to disagree. We live n a world full of differences, and it is normal for us, humans, to adopt different views and have different beliefs.

If Jesus said that, he is right and that makes him God because prophets never lie. However I do not believe that these are his words. God should always be there, not born and staying eternally in life. Jesus was not present in life before Mary gave birth to him. If he is God and is worthy to be worshiped, then why did not all the people who live on earth worship him?! Starting from Adam and eve going through all humans. Moreover, why did God send other prophets like Noah, Jacob, Joseph and Muhammad since He has a son on earth that people should worship Him through!

I am just discussing the idea with you, Caroline!

        I quote from Quran:
“And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. I said not to them except what You commanded me – to worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness. If You should punish them – indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them – indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

Jesus is so merciful. Even after all the lies people said about him, he is begging mercy from God on us. I love him!
